Different types of miscarriage
Miscarriage can be classified as several types as follows:
According to the situation in early pregnancy:
Threatened miscarriage: a situation in early pregnancy, in which you have lost some blood and may feel some very slight cramping.
Inevitable miscarriage: when the bleeding becomes painful and is accompanied by severe cramping, the uterus may already be expelling the fetus. And whe your doctor examines you, he or she may find that the cervix is already opening, at which point you may be told that the miscarriage is inevitable.
According to different terms:
Midtrimester miscarriage: the miscarriage happens after 12 to 14 weeks and up to 24 weeks.
Late miscarriage: an incompetent or weak cervix is an important cause of miscarriages after the 12th to 16th week.
According to the times of miscarriage:
Primary miscarriage in the first trimester: it means that your first pregnancy has aborted spontaneously in the 12th week, and the following pregnancies are also miscarried.
Secondary miscarriage in the third trimester: you have had normal pregnancies before, and then miscarried spontaneously in the 12th week, and this situation continuing in following pregnancies.
Primary miscarriage in the first trimester: your first pregnancy miscarried spontaneously during the 12th to 28th week, and the same as your following pregnancies.
Secondary miscarriage in the third trimester: you have had normal pregnancies before, and then miscarried during the 12th to 28th week, and the same as your following pregnancies.
